I’ll be back June 21, 2010
Posted by admin in : News , 1 comment so farThough my cycling adventure is over, the dialogue for fresh ideas continues as well as my own personal journey of landing my dream job. Many have reached out to me for a cross-country tour, and I hope to make that a reality in the near future. Inspired by my meeting with the Governator, “I’ll be back” on the road in no time. Thank you for all your support!
A Clean Future June 17, 2010
Posted by admin in : News , add a commentBy 8.30am I made it up to Sacramento, thrilled to be attending the Governor’s Advanced Transportation Summit and proud to be exhibiting mySOMBA. I meandered down O Street, checking out the other electric vehicles and understanding the ingredients of biofuels. By noon, a swarm arrived and in the middle of the pack of journalists, photogs, and secret service was the Governator. I had the chance to shake his hand and take up to 6 seconds of his time saying a few words about Spin it Green. I then listened to his speech and the panels and supported the message that the time has come to clean up our act and start changing or ways to ensure a cleaner future.
The Journey June 14, 2010
Posted by admin in : News , add a commentI woke up Saturday morning at 4:45am, and I jammed down the hill of Sunset Cliffs, past the airport, and into the train station as dawn was breaking. It was an eventful train ride, but all my worries evaporated into the beauty of the California landscape. As Douglas strummed his guitar on the train, I reflected on my journey. Though my tour has come to an end, I hope to keep the dialogue alive. Let’s continue to Spin it Green!
